| | Marlon Merraro is the Director of Leading MaTTers Consulting Group that currently works with non-profit community agencies. Marlon has over 20 years experience working with diverse communities and organizations such as The Children's Aid Society, Youth Link InnerCity, St. Christopher House, Warden Woods, and St. Stephen's Community House. Marlon spearheaded the creation of the "Replay" Program, which is an alternative to suspension program at St. Stephen's Community House. He has also worked with key stakeholders to address the impact of the zero tolerance policies, and mobilized communities to effect policy change prior to the passing of bill 212. Marlon also is a member of the board of directors for Boundless Adventures an agency that assist at risk youth to gain high school credits through alternative and integrative programs. Marlon has also been instrumental in establishing community processes that engages the community to have a voice on larger issues relating to high school education. Marlon also sat on allocation processes with The United Way Allocations Committee, and Provincial Youth Challenge. Marlon has a Bachelor of Social Degree from Ryerson University, a Community Worker Diploma from George Brown College, Emerging leaders Certificate from York University Schulich School of Business, and a certificate from the Gilmour Leadership Training. | |
