Orientation
Whether you're coming to university for the first time or returning after a number of years away, you can significantly ease your transition to York and dramatically increase your chances of success by attending the Mature Students Orientation.
Mature Student Orientation will introduce you to the staff and services of the Atkinson Centre for Mature and Part-time Students (ACMAPS), provide an opportunity to hear advice from student peer mentors, and introduce the academic skills that will help you make a smooth transition to university study. As well, there'll be opportunities to mingle with other mature students, to learn about the YFS Student Health Plan, and to learn about the activities of YUMSO, the York University Mature Student Organization.
Whether you're beginning in the Fall term or in January, there's an Orientation for you at ACMAPS.
We'll look forward to meeting you soon!
