Deborah Cox and songwriter Lascelles Stephens collaborated to create Cox's
self-titled debut album. Their combined talents have produced songs for
SWV and Eternal. Now signed to American label, Arista Records, Cox is an
international soul diva. The former backup singer for Roch Voisine and Celine
Dion, Cox is now making her own music and securing her place as a truly
talented African Canadian performer. Dan Hill - singer/songwriter Dan Hill is an internationally acclaimed recording artist who has been nominated for a Grammy and is a multiple Juno award winner. His best known songs, "Sometimes When We Touch" and "In Your Eyes" have been recorded by such artists as George Benson. Debbie Johnson - R&B vocalist and songwriter Debbie Johnson first began making music with her talented parents and siblings who were known as the "Johnson Family". Debbie has enjoyed a successful recording career and gets airplay in Canada, the United States and Europe. Shade - soul group Toronto's Shade has a sound that combines acoustic guitar, socially-conscious lyrics, and innovative percussion to create what Word calls "urban earth" sound. Their debut album, "Porpoise" takes both soul and "roots" stylings to new heights. Lorraine Scott - vocalist A talented performer, Lorraine Scott migrated to Canada from Columbus, Ohio. She was awarded the Best Female Vocalist in 1985 by the Canadian Black Music Association and in 1988 received a Juno nomination in the R&B category. She has performed at the New Music Seminar in New York and played in the Buddy Holly Story on Broadway. Discography includes: "Crying for Love Love& Sas - Lovena Fox and Saskia Garel - R&B vocalists Juno Award winners, Love and Sas have been heating up the pop charts in Canada, the U.S. and abroad. Between them, they also have many stage, film, recording and television credits. Jay W. McGee R&B vocalist, songwriter Toronto music writer Norman (Otis) Richmond calls Jay McGee one of the finest male vocalists in Canada. McGee's music career began with his stints as background vocalist for the band "The Modern Drifter" and has since produced four albums. Also a successful songwriter, McGee lists Sam Cooke, Burt Bacharach, and especially Smokey Robinson, among his influences.
