She plans to continue following a career in Graphic Design and Fine
Arts, and hopes to attend NSCAD University in Nova Scotia for a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts. She is drawn to Nova Scotia not
only for the College, but it is where her Canadian roots began as a
descendant of both the Scottish settlers and the Black Loyalists. In
future, Vanessa hopes to spend a few years in Nova Scotia to paint
her Canadian history.

Sandra
Brewster
Sandra Brewster is
a graduate from the Fine Arts program at York University. In her latest
series she attempts to show dramatic, intimate portraits of her subjects.
She is interested in realistic portraits of people and hopes to transmit
a sense of feeling or emotion: a hint of her models' personalities.
The works featured
here were displayed at York University's Student Centre Gallery during
the Fall/Winter 1998 term.

Kevin Mark

Kevin Mark was born
in San Fernando, Trinidad. At age nine, he came to Canada for schooling
. Here, he has developed his artistic talents in both visual art and hair
design. Kevin works as a freelance artist.
"The Forest"
was displayed at Mississauga City Hall Exhibition, 1996. These pieces
featured reflect research on Africa's rare savannah animals.
Kevin Mark continues
to work as a freelance artist and is currently transforming the walls
of his daughter's room into an African savannah paradise.
Kevin also is an
artist in hair design and can be found for both these artistic talents
