ADVANCEMENT SERVICES supports the Division of Advancement by maintaining and reporting on essential information about York’s alumni, donors and friends.
Our dedicated team of information professionals is committed to providing transparency and accountability to our alumni and donors with assurances that their private information is in good hands: we do this through sound management of our advancement database of close to 400,000 records. We are also responsible for gift processing, tax receipting, and donor acknowledgement letters.
Serving both University departments and Faculties, as well as the external community, Advancement Services provides end-user data access solutions in the form of self-serve reports, complex queries and data analysis to enhance the University's ability to engage with alumni, donors and friends. Within the Division, we also provide administrative and logistical support for all Advancement activities.
