Caroline Langill
13 – 17 April 1998
Caroline Langill's exhibition, Dissolution, comprises three recent film/video installations. Langill is interested in the subjective shift that imaging technologies has effected, and she sees the screen as a location that renders our subjectivity vulnerable. Her video works explore narratives of intimacy through locations of isolation; the car, the bog, and the womb simultaneously become sites of tension and potential ecstasy.
