Ingrid graduated from the BA ITEC program in 2002 and then she obtained a MSc from the School of Computing at Queen's University. Her research area was the analysis and processing of CT images. In 2004 she did a 4-months internship in the Computer Vision Lab in the Institute of Technology in Zurich Switzerland, working on the registration of CT and MRI images. Since January 2005, Ingrid has have been working for Aurora Interactive Inc. in Toronto. She deals with the remote transmission, access and management of large medical images.

Puneet applied for a job with CGI 9 months prior to graduation from the BA ITEC program.
He was hired as a technical analyst working on two large projects involving financial institutions.
After getting his ITEC degree in 2005, Puneet was appointed as Business Analyst/Consultant within banking and credit union projects.

With 25,000 professionals, CGI is one of the largest independent information technology services firms in North America, providing end-to-end IT services and business solutions to clients worldwide. CGI provides a full range of IT services, including consulting, systems integration, and the management of business and IT functions.

Deni graduated with a Specialized Honors degree in Information Technology in 2004. He works as a software developer for Smart Games Canada developing slot machine games.  He uses many of the skills learned in the ITEC program: UML diagrams to map out projects, Java programming, using many of the development classes learned at York, an understanding of the software development life cycle and how it can be implemented in a project.

Graduated BAS ITEC in 2005 but employed by CGI before her graduation. Jelena is a Systems Analyst in CGI Insurance Business Services. Her work involves analyzing data, creating functional and business specifications, working with an Oracle database system. She also creates management reports through data mining for the ING Bank, a CGI client.

Hisham graduated in 2005 from the BAS Honours in ITEC program. He is a Project Leader for Change Analysis and Delivery at Symcor Services, a company providing transactional processing to all the major Canadian banks. Among the services provided are cheque processing, payment processing, statement production and document management. Hisham's job is to analyze client requests and define projects in terms of people, process and technology. Then Hisham manages and coordinates internal resources to deliver the project on time and within the budget.

Mohammad will graduate in May 2006 from BA ITEC. He was hired in May 2005 by Redline as an NMS Software Engineer. His work involves the development of network management systems (client, server and database) applications. He deals with analysis, research and proposals write ups.

Sara graduated in 2004 with a B.A.(honors) in Information Technology with minor in Mathematics. After a degree with almost only A+, Sara decided to pursue graduate studies at University of Toronto. She is currently finishing a MA in Educational Administration, Theory and policy studies at OISE and she plans to start in September 2006 a PhD in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, at the Rotman School of Management. Needless to say that she continues to be an A+ student !

Glocer graduated BAS (Honours) ITEC in June 2006, but he was already hired by MRG early in 2006. He works on numerous projects for MRG (such as market surveys) involving the use of a  variety of software tools to create and maintain database driven websites. After completing 3 years in BA ITEC, Alon joined Workbrain as an Intern/co-op student in the summer of 2005, for the position of Junior Database Administrator. After completing his 12 months internship placement, Alon signed a contract with Workbrain as a fulltime employee. While completing his fourth year at York, he is working as a Technical Consultant – DBA. Alon works on the three major DBMS platforms: Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server as well as the major Application Servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic and Oracle AS. Alon’s duties involve maintaining databases of corporate giants like McDonalds and Toyota.

Michael Orr (Scott) completed his BA (Hons) in ITEC in 2003 and is now pursuing a PhD degree in eHealth Innovation and Management at the University of Toronto in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Health Policy Management and Evaluation. He holds a Masters in Information Studies (Information Systems stream) and a collaborative Knowledge Media Design Institute designation from the University of Toronto, where he focused on human centered design of medical applications and has published a number of papers and presentations of his work. During his graduate work he received the Bell University Labs Scholarship and a Fellowship for Academic excellence.

Jason graduated in 2006 with a BA ITEC (Hon). He was hired before his graduation in BMO's Technology & Solutions Group as an intranet designer. His duties included requirements elicitation & analysis, user interface design, prototyping with key stakeholders, and content migration management. In the fall of 2006 Jason will begin studies in the Master of Electronic Commerce program at Dalhousie University.

Position: IT Manager

Peter supports the Director of Information and Information Technology through business case development, I.T. project management, and the coordination of I.T. staff. Additionally, he is leading knowledge management, staff training, and software development. Peter chairs and participates on a number of committees while staying informed of new developments in the I.T. field and developing strategic alliances.

Cardiac Care Network of Ontario is North America's largest population-based cardiac registry and integrated wait time monitoring and management system. CCN is in the process of implementing state-of-the-art I.T. infrastructure to better help 85,000 cardiac patients per year achieve timely access to quality care.
