With the revolution in information
technology, virtually every organization requires IT professionals.
Working with both technical and non-technical users of information, the
graduates of the Information Technology programs are uniquely positioned
to plan, design, build and administer information systems. They are
familiar with the latest technologies and capable to customize and
integrate them according to the users needs.
Information Technology programs were offered by the York's Atkinson
Faculty, Faculty of Arts and by Glendon College since 1999. Since July
2005 both the Atkinson and Arts ITEC programs were administered by
Atkinson's School of Analytics Studies and Information Technology. In
September 2006 we shall offer a new simplified and expanded set of ITec
programs.
