Assignment #2

Research and write a report on the the way in which tourism represents/misrepresents place

• Pick a major tourist destination
• Study and interpret the photos tourists take and the images the collect about the place, vs the ‘reality’ of the place

Length: variable, but at least 8 pages or longer.

Any reference source which you have to look up must be cited (in some suitable fashion) and included in a bibliography to be appended to the end of the essay. Inlcude suitably captioned (and cited) illustrations where appropriate.
