Members may hang out in the office as long as they abide by the college's policies and there is an executive of YAMA Anime and Manga Association present in the office.

College policies include:

  1. noise level kept to a minimum
  2. keep the room clean
  3. throw trash and recyclables in recycle bins in the hallway
  4. A YAMA executive must be present at all times in the office if members are to visit

The office is also shared with York's archery, fencing, and kendo club. Please take note that there will be times when executives of archery, fencing, kendo, or YAMA will request people to leave the office because of a meeting being held.

Rules to the office include:

  1. Never occupying Fencing's area
  2. Keep all jackets, coats, and sweaters on the chairs or locker hooks
  3. Clear the room when executives of office clubs say so
  4. Respect members of the neighboring clubs
  5. Clean up your mess (eg. spills and crumbs)
  6. Rinse and clean the kettle after using it
  7. Turn off the fan if you are the last to leave the office
  8. Turn off the power bars if you are last to leave the office
