CANADIAN RED CROSS

First Responder Courses for Sports Medicine Specialists

This course includes Canadian Red Cross First Responder new course, CPR for Health Care Professionals, and AED training.  ALL Canadian Red Cross First Responder/Emergency Medical Responder courses are now a minimum of 44 hours.

Cost:
Certified Athletic Therapists and all other professionals $405.00
Certification Candidates, Stong College and YUSMA members $350.00

Deposit of $100 (cheque payable to York University) must be delivered to 323 Stong College within one week of email registering. The rest of the course fee is paid in cash on the first day of class. Please bring a fanny pack or kit with a cpr mask and any personal field management supplies you have.

Prerequisites
Current Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid and Basic Rescuer CPR, or for York KINE students - PKIN 0750

Canadian Red Cross First Responder for Sports Medicine Professionals Recertification 2012
This course includes Canadian Red Cross First Responder recertification, CPR for Health Care Professionals, and AED training.  ALL recertification programs are now a minimum of 2 days.

Please be sure to bring a fanny pack or kit with a CPR mask and all your field management personal equipment. The remainder of the fee is payable by cash on the first day of the course.
