Chapter 5: Radar Fundamentals

We started on Radar Fundamentals. We learned about coherent and incoherent radar, the range resolution and the minimum pulse width for a pulsed radar.
Then we focused on the spectrum of the transmitted and received amplitude modulated wave of a radar.

We derived the radar equation.

We focussed on the cross section and then learned about the CW radar with FM.

We learned how to derive range and range rate from an FM CW radar. Then we discussed the format
of the final exam, and that was the end of the lectures.
