The Class Representative (CR) Program at Bethune College (BC) is a new initiative designed to assign a CR for each of the major courses in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The role of CRs is to act as liaisons between the professor and students in the classroom. When necessary, CRs will meet with their corresponding course instructor/director to negotiate any issues or concerns on behalf of the class. At Bethune College, we will provide all CRs with a forum where they can share their ideas and strategies to help their classmates, as well as training. This is designed to strengthen the ties between students and course directors to help students get more engaged and do better in their courses.
