From the bar

We are in a bar, seeing and hearing things
from the point of view of the barkeeper.

Among the things overheard
are remarks about works of art
plundered during the Third Reich
and destined for the vast museum
Hitler was planning to build in Linz,
his boyhood home in Austria.

By the end of the war
many of the artworks stored
in the salt mines at nearby Alt Aussee,
had disappeared.

The Führermuseum was never built.

A group of artists, regulars at the Transit Bar in Linz,
are talking about these missing works.

They are beginning to form a plan...
