Cellular Memory

In case you’re interested, here’s a link to a PDF on cellular memory which offers up some interesting accounts: Knowing By Heart: Cellular Memory in Heart Transplants by Kate Ruth Linton. Pretty light; it introduces the subject and notes some interesting stories. The reason I’m posting this particular PDF is because it includes the reference to the murder case I mentioned in class. (I know IT DOES sound like a t.v. show, or movie, but apparently it comes from a true account.) I’ve come across the same story in other cellular memory articles, but this one references the case back to the text The Heart’s Code, by psychologist Paul Pearsall. Not sure what I believe, really, but nonetheless, I’m still quite fascinated by the concept of cellular memory. Sounds like the premise for some good sci-fi!
