Industry Insights Panels: Strategies for Getting Hired
Industry Insights Panels are designed to provide students with inside tips on securing employment within a specific industry - from professionals who do the hiring! Panelists provide students with insight into their field and strategies on:
- Where to look for and secure a position within the industry;
- How to make connections within the field;
- What is involved in the application process, e.g. specific hiring dates, materials required;
- How to write an effective resumé and cover letter targeted to their organization;
- What to expect during the interview; and
- How to succeed on the job.
Registration on the Career Centre's online system is required for all panel events (you must sign up for an account on the system before you will be able to register for any events).
