 Alumnus: Honours BA, Physical Education/Psychology Certificate in Sport Administration (1983)

Currently working with the City of Toronto in municipal sport development. Provides staff support to the Toronto Sports Council. Has served on several not-for-profit Boards and is currenlty a Director of Community Sport Councils Ontario and InclusionFirst.org.

Dan Di Ruscio offers an extensive event planning and marketing communications background having worked both in the private and public sectors. Graduating from York University in 2005, Dan attained a specialized honours degree in Kinesiology and Health Science, as well as a Certificate in Sport Administration. He completed two internships with Tennis Canada and Timex Canada before beginning his career as a Marketing Coordinator in the private sector. Passionate about event planning, Dan joined Hala Events and Communications Inc. in 2007, a seven-time international award winning event planning firm in downtown Toronto. During his time at Hala Inc. he oversaw and produced events for clients including The Keg Spirit Foundation, Sunlife Financial, Oxfam Canada, the Canadian Liver Foundation, SickKids Foundation, and Ragdoll USA.

In 2009, while managing his full-time job, Dan embarked on a small business venture and started a mobile advertising and promotions company. Later that year, he took his experiences in the private sector and joined the public sector as Events Coordinator within the Community Services Department of the Town of Richmond Hill. Today, Dan continues to enhance his section and coordinates large scale community events including the Canada Day celebration, various awards nights, a multicultural food festival, and community fairs. He was also the lead in overseeing the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Torch Relay through Richmond Hill.

Innovation, creativity and a keen eye for business opportunities have allowed Jennifer to proliferate various industries, all with a rooted foundation in Kinesiology. Jennifer is the owner and President of Fluent Motion, a healthcare and consulting company now in existence for 10 years. The addition of Air Canada to her portfolio has added a depth many only find years later. Variety and intuitiveness in every opportunity Jennifer encounters has aided in her quest for doing "the ordinary extraordinarily well.".

I am the clinic director at Thornhill Rehabilitation and Chiropractic Centre, where I work as a Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, and Kinesiologist. I work with a diverse patient population with the ultimate goal of improving their health and wellbeing.

I have always know that I wanted to work in healthcare. The York Kinesiology program gave me the base I needed to pursue that dream. Now I run a multidisciplinary physical rehabilitation clinic. I interact daily with Medical Doctors and Physiotherapists and help people to reach their health goals. It is a tremendous experience to make a bond with a patient and see them overcome their physical ailments. This is why I became a Chiropractor. I love what I do
