MHDS is not involved with the admissions process. If you have any questions about applying to York University, contact the main Admissions Office at 416-736-5000. If your questions cannot be answered by an enquiries assistant, you will be referred to the Manager or Assistant Manager of Information Services. Additional Programs available for all students
- Pre-University Course
Offered by the Division of Continuing Education, the Pre-University Course is suitable for students interested in refining academic skills. It is a non-credit course and is not funded through OSAP. Students can take this course if they are considering coming to university for the first time or after a long absence from school. - Bridging Program for Women
Offered by the School of Women's Studies, York University, the Bridging Program for Women offers academic bridging for women interested in attending university. The program offers upgrading in reading, writing and speaking. - Redirection Through Education (RTE)
George Brown College offer supported education programs for adults with mental health issues and/or addictions. The focus of these programs is academic upgrading, vocational support and personal development.
York University Orientation For Students with Disabilities
If you have been accepted to York University, just before the start of the fall term, all of the disability offices on campus offer an orientation session to new students.. This is your opportunity to find out about the many services and resources on campus to assist you in your educational path. It is also a time to meet other students with similar challenges and to begin to build a network of academic and social support.
