Canadian Window on International Development Awards (IDRC)
For a doctoral student exploring the relationship between Canadian aid, trade, immigration, diplomatic policy, international development and the alleviation of global poverty. A second award is for a doctoral or masters student researching a problem that is common to First Nations or Inuit communities in Canada and a developing region of the world.
OAS (Organization of American States)
For students wanting to study or conduct research in specified countries within Latin America and the Caribbean.
Foreign Government Awards Program (Chile, Colombia & Mexico)
For students who wish to study or conduct research in Chile, Colombia or Mexico
James R. Scobie Memorial Award for Preliminary PhD Research
To permit a short exploratory research trip abroad to determine the feasibility of a PhD dissertation topic dealing with some facet of Latin American history
Fisher Fund for Neotropical Conservation Graduate Student Research Grant
