Born in Saint John, New Brunswick. Education at New Brunswick Teachers College, St. Thomas University and University of New Brunswick. Teacher and Guidance Counsellor, 1967-1981. Called to the Bar of New Brunswick, 1985. Partner at Stevenson & Stevenson in Fredericton, New Brunswick, 1985-2002. Appointed Judge of the Federal Court of Canada, Trial Division and ex officio member of the Court of Appeal, January 25, 2002 and Judge of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada, April 18, 2002.
