From Sanctuary to Solidarity:
Migrant Justice in an Age of Trump and Trudeau

Karl Gardner is an organizer, educator, and student based in Toronto. He is a member of No On Is Illegal-Toronto and is involved in Indigenous solidarity work inside and outside the city. He is pursuing a PhD in Political Science at York University, where his research focuses on the role of radical migrant justice movements in creating and cultivating sanctuary cities in Canada.
