Economist Intelligence Unit – Tutorial Webinars for Country Reports and Viewswire

The Economist Intelligence Unit has arranged for a series of webinars. There will be a total of four sessions run over two weeks to allow as many people to attend as possible. Three of the sessions will provide an overview of the specific services provided by the EIU. In the fourth session, a senior member of the EIU editorial staff will cover the services provided and plans for the future.

Overview sessions

There will be three overview sessions lasting 30-45 minutes and covering:

- The new eiu.com interface

- Features and benefits of the Country Reports and ViewsWire services

- How to use the EIU data tool

- The EIU Concierge service and other client benefits

- Online training tutorials

In-depth editorial session

There will be one in-depth session with Alasdair Ross, EIU’s Global Product Director. Again, this session will last for 30-45 minutes and will focus on how the services are put together and what differentiates the EIU from other providers of country analysis and forecasts. This session will also give you the opportunity to hear from the EIU about future plans for product development.

At each session, there will be an opportunity to submit questions and views.

Sessions will be held via GotoWebinar and you are required to pre-register for a session in order to attend. Once registered, you will receive confirmation and reminders of the session details and how to access. Unfortunately, EIU have not been able to commit to offering any seminars in French at this time.
