Country Profiles

The LARG research team developed a series of country profiles that seek to contextualize the migration process of populations from the six Latin American countries included in the study. Contexts of departure and arrival determine the mode of incorporation of each group, and shape their settlement process in Canada. The LARG Country Profiles provide information on the population, history and state policies of each immigrant country of origin, as well as state Canadian policies and responses of civil society to each country of origin population.
