How to print Double-Sided
Option 1: Set all your documents to print double sided by default
- (On Windows XP) Go to Start - Settings - Printers and Faxes - Right click on the desired printer - Select Printing Preferences - Click on the "Finishing" tab - check "Print on both sides" - Apply - OK
Option 2: How to set individual jobs to print double sided
MS Word 2003
- 1. Go to File and from the drop-down list choose Print
- In Print window, click on Properties button on the top right-hand side
- Under Layout tab choose your preferred setting under 'Print on Both Sides (duplex)' box and click OK.
Note: 'Flip on Long Edge': Prints pages that read like a book. Flip on Short Edge: Prints pages that read by flipping over like a notepad.
- Click on Paper/Quality tab and select Draft under 'Quality settings' and Black & White under 'Color' section
- Click on the Apply button to apply these settings
- Close the Properties dialog box, and then click OK again to close the Print dialog box
- Print the file
MS Word 2010
- Go to File and from the drop-down list choose Print
- Under Settings click on Print One Sided drop down and choose your preferred option Print on Both Sides
- Click on Printer Properties, select Paper/Quality tab and choose Draft under 'Quality settings' and Black & White under 'Color' section
- Click on OK button to apply the settings
- Click on Print button to print the file

Mac OS: Printing PDFs Double Sided
- Select Print from the File menu
- On the printer window click on Printer button
- Place a check mark on Two-Sided
- Click on Print button to print the file
- Go to File and from the drop-down list choose Print
- In Print window, click on Properties button on the top right-hand side
- Click on Paper/Quality tab and select Draft under 'Quality settings' and Black & White under 'Color' section
- Click on Apply button to apply the settings
- Close the Properties dialog box, and then click OK again to close the Print dialog box
- Print the file
- Go to File and from the drop-down list choose Print
- Click on Printer Properties, select Paper/Quality tab and choose Draft under 'Quality settings' and Black & White under 'Color' section
- Click on OK button to apply the settings
- Click on Print button to print the file
- Click on the Start button | Setting | Printers and Faxes
- Right click on the default printer and select Printing preferences
- Click on Paper/Quality tab and select Draft under 'Quality settings' and Black & White under 'Color' section
- Click on Apply button to apply the settings
- Click OK to close the window
