Micro-Teaching Sessions
Each term, CST schedules time to conduct micro-teaching sessions where TAs may conduct practice teaching with a small group of peers and receive constructive criticism and helpful feedback. Sessions are videotaped so that participants may conduct their own self-evaluation. Micro-teaching sessions are conducted in small groups of five to six participants; interested instructors should reserve a space well in advance.

Individual Consultation & Feedback on Teaching
The CST provides a comprehensive consulting service to faculty and teaching assistants who seek feedback on their teaching. Feedback on teaching is confidential and may take a variety of forms such as participation in a videotaped "micro-teaching" session, or arranging for classroom observation or student focus group discussion with CST personnel or other colleagues.
Teaching and Technology Consultation
If you have any questions about the use of technology in teaching, you are welcome to start by asking us at CST. The CST chairs the Technology-Enhanced Learning Coordinating Committee (TELCC), comprised of representatives from the various technology support units and faculties on campus who meet regularly to discuss issues and resource planning with respect to the use of technology in teaching. Our role in TELCC allows us to set up effective interactions between instructors and technology support personnel.
