Resources for Your Teaching Award Nomination
Congratulations to all those instructors who have, or will be, nominated for Teaching Awards for the 2011/12 year.
As a consequence of the CST- re-visioning process, CST is, for this year at least, unable to provide one on one consultation support to award nominees.
CST re-visioning was announced in a September 1, 2011 Y-File announcement: http://ylife.news.yorku.ca/2011/09/01/
Specific CST article: http://ylife.news.yorku.ca/2011/09/01/provost-outlines-new-reporting-structure-for-centre-for-the-support-of-teaching/
Resources which may assist you in preparing your teaching philosophy statement and shaping your teaching CV follow below:

- Teaching Assessment & Evaluation. SCOTL, York University 2002(PDF 60 KB)

Finally, observation of your teaching may be a required component of the nomination, and as CST in currently unable to provide an educational developer for this purpose, please approach your Undergraduate Program Director or Chair to serve in this capacity. Should neither of these options be available to you, please contact the CST; we may be able to partner you with a previous York teaching award winner willing to assist you.
Best Wishes on your Nomination
