Minutes of the 2001 Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Society for Traditional Music

Sarjeant, Murray Shoolbraid, Norman Stanfield, Phil Thomas, Alan Thrasher, Cathryn Wellner, Richard Wright, 3 proxies.

4. 2002 Annual General Meeting:

MSC that the board be authorized to select sites for the 2002 and 2003 Annual General Meetings, taking into account an earlier proposal of Athabasca University and the desirability of holding an AGM in Atlantic Canada.

Alan Thrasher volunteered to look into travel grants, Leslie Hall volunteered to compile a list of travel grant organizations and possibly bost them on the CSTM website.

5. Elections:

The following persons were elected (subject to acceptance, in the case of members not in attendance):

Secretary: John Leeder
Treasurer: James Prescott

6. Constitution:

Notice of Motion for the 2002 meeting: that the Archivist be added as a ex officio Director.

7. Other Business:

MSC that the Society thanks Leslie Hall for her years as President.
