The Brain and Behaviour Laboratory is directed by Christine Till, PhD, Assistant Professor at York University and Adjunct Scientist at The Hospital for Sick Children. Our research is dedicated to understanding the cognitive and behavioural phenotypes associated with different types of brain injuries occurring across the lifespan as well as the neuroplastic mechanisms related to functional recovery following brain insult.

Our research studes include both typically-developing populations and clinical populations, focusing mainly on children and adolescents with demyelinating disease, such as multiple sclerosis. We integrate our research with systematic clinical assessment and patient care at SickKids. Our research techniques include a combination of behavioural, perceptual and neuropsychological methods as well as neuroimaging methods.

Our mission is to bridge the gaps between science and clinical practice.
