New Hires
Maryam Dilmaghani (Phd, McGill) will begin a tenure track position at St. Mary's University. Martha MacDonald, Chair of the Economics
Department notes that the hiring of Maryam brings the number of women in the economics department at SMU to 4 of 12. Best of luck in your new position, Maryam!
Promotions
Tammy Schirle (Laurier University ) will be promoted to the rank of
Associate Professor (with tenure), effective July 1, 2011. Congratulations Tammy!
