ATLANTIS -- CWSA/ACEF 'JOURNAL OF CHOICE'

At the AGM in 2004, Atlantis:A Women's Studies Journal/Revue d'études sur les femmes was adopted as the 'journal of choice' of the CWSA/ACEF. This more visible relationship between the two organizations was meant to recognize, solildfy, and formalize a number of connections that had been in place for awhile, and establish a base upon which to build more connections in the future.

Each year, Atlantis sponsors and supports the annual CWSA/ACEF Book Award by arranging for the winning plaque to be designed and delivered to the conference award celebration, and by offering a one year subscription to the journal to the award winner. It also publishes reviews of these books and in-depth interviews with their authors and has made these available for free download from its website.
