Our focus is musculoskeletal injury prevention; however proper ergonomics has many other benefits.
An ergonomic workplace is one where the interactions among workers and other elements of the workplace are optimized, resulting in:

  1. Maximized comfort and productivity
  2. Reduced risk of injury and mistakes

Self Help

Injuries can occur as a result of 1) a single event or 2) a series of events or activities which on their own are not harmful, but over time can result in an injury. The latter type of injury goes by many names including:

Musculoskeletal discomfort can lead to pain and pain can lead to disability. If an employee is experiencing work-related musculoskeletal discomfort, follow the Musculoskeletal Discomfort Response Procedure
