The mouse bridge can help right-handed
mouse users by enabling the mouse to be positioned over
the numeric keypad of a standard keyboard, cutting down the
reach for the mouse. Note that you won't be able to use the numeric keypad while the bridge is in place, but it can be moved easily out of the way. The mouse bridge is designed to make mousing more comfortable. However, it is not the answer for everyone. There are many reasons why you may find mousing uncomfortable and the mouse bridge is only one possible solution. For more information on mouse related discomfort, refer to: Towards Pain-Free Mousing |

Mouse bridge usage tips
1) Mouse bridge slides around on desk or keyboard platform
Place a sheet of high traction material under your keyboard and mouse bridge. Contact us for more details. See below for contact information.
2) Mouse bridge makes it awkward to use arrow keys, Page Up, Page Down, Home, End, Insert, and Delete
Move your keyboard to the left and/or mouse bridge to the right so that you can access these keys without having to significantly raise or curl your baby finger.
3) Mouse bridge presses on keys beneath it
Check to see that the legs of your keyboard are retracted so that your keyboard lies flat.
4) Mouse pointer doesn't follow movement of mouse (poor tracking)
Placing a mouse pad on the bridge may improve mouse tracking. Once you are satisfied that the mouse bridge is helpful, cut the mouse pad so that it does not hang over the edge of the mouse bridge.
If you are using an optical mouse (i.e. no ball), put something that is not transparent over the mouse bridge.
5) Mouse slides down mouse bridge when not in use

The mouse bridge is sloped hence the tendency for the mouse to slide. Removing the rubber strip at the back of the bridge will reduce the slope. (NOTE: Don't throw the rubber strip away until you're sure that the back of the bridge is high enough to clear all the keys on your keyboard.) |

Ensure that your keyboard tray is level. |

Placing a mouse pad on the bridge may also help. |
6) Mouse bridge doesn't fit over keyboard
The standard mouse bridge is 8 inches long. If your keyboard is bigger than that, contact us for alternatives. See below for contact information.
