- December 19, 2011: I have been awarded a grant-in-aid from the Friends of the Center for History of Physics, American Institute of Physics, in College Park, Maryland, USA. Worth up to US $2000, this grant is meant to help reimburse expenses regarding my investigation into Robert J. Van de Graaff and his devices while visiting the Center's Niels Bohr Library & Archives and Emilio Segrè Visual Archives.

- March 11, 2011: The Scientific Instrument Society, based in the UK, approved a grant of up to £350 to help reimburse expenses regarding my road trip investigations into Robert J. Van de Graaff's devices.
- June 2010: Senate, York University, 2010 President's Medal (Murray G. Ross Award) - the
University's highest honour for a graduating undergraduate student.
- June 2010: York University, BA (Honours) summa cum laude - Major: Professional Writing. Minor: Science & Society.
- June 2010: York University, Vanier Master's Award for Academic Achievement and Outstanding Contribution to Vanier College - Vanier College. Shared Vanier's top award with Ada Vrana.
- June 2010: Vanier Vignt-Deux Honour Roll (Master's Honour Roll - Vanier's top 22 graduating students), and the College's overall Academic Honour Roll.
