| Mark Eisenman: Upcoming Dates
An Appeal To Jazz Fans
As you can see by the paucity of public appearances listed below, the changes in Toronto's jazz venues have had an impact on my (and many other musicians') opportunities to be heard in public. If you're a fan of my piano playing, my long standing Trio, or would like to hear more of my Quintet, I have an unusual favour to ask of you. This was not an easy decision to make, and I don't do it lightly.
The new venues only need to hear from the paying public. That'd be you! To that end, and with great humility, I ask that if you are so motivated, and have the time, to please request an appearance featuring one or both of my groups.
I realize that I'm asking a lot but it sure would be appreciated.
The venues that would be a good match for my music make a short list.
They have good pianos, and are nice places.
The links are below and also e mail addresses of the decision makers.
Thank you for your ongoing support, it is greatly valued.
Live@The Courthouse
Opal Jazz Lounge
Sopra
The TD Canada Trust Toronto Jazz Festival
The Rex Hotel
If you know of any other venues that you think you'd like to hear me play, please forward that info to me. And don't hesitate to suggest your interest in me to the management of those venues.
Thanks
Mark
