More on the CIE Diagram

As I noted the CIE Diagram only tells when two colors match. Even though I showed you a colored version of this diagram, it has nothing to say about how colors appear.

The outside edge of the color space represents the location where one would match monochromatic wavelengths. Indeed, the numbers you see there are the wavelengths that would be matched by an observer.

There is a basic flaw in this presentation. Can you guess what it is? If you want to know more click on basic flaw.
