Jennifer Hyndman is Professor in the Departments of Social Science and Geography, and is Associate Director, Research in the Centre for Refugee Studies at York. Her research focuses on conflict and related human displacement, humanitarian emergencies, well as refugee resettlement in Canada. Hyndman comes to York from Simon Fraser University where she received the President’s Award for Teaching Excellence in 2006.
