Take specific courses that will earn you a certificate without lengthening the time it takes to complete your degree. You can work towards receiving multiple certificates provided that at least 18 credits in each certificate program are unique to the specific certificate.
Ideally you should decide if you want to work towards any of the certificates by the time you enter Year 2. Should you choose to delay your decision it may mean that you will need to complete extra courses and take additional time to complete your studies.
Certificates available through the Faculty of Environmental Studies:
Community Arts Practice (CAP)
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) & Remote Sensing
Refugee and Migration Studies
Sustainable Energy (SE) — NEW!
Urban Ecologies (UE)
