Welcome to the Faculty of Environmental Studies (FES)! Established in 1968 as the first faculty of its kind in Canada, we continue to follow that groundbreaking path. Internationally recognized for our interdisciplinary approach to study, teaching and research, our professors come from disciplines as diverse as urban planning, fine arts, political science, sociology, biology and philosophy. Under their guidance, you will be inspired and challenged to approach issues with an open mind and to develop your own unique areas of study.
