4th Year Graduating Exhibition
The Visual Arts 4th-year class organizes a group exhibition to show case the work of graduating students from all areas of the program. There have been times when this exhibition has taken place in a professional gallery space downtown, which provides a great opportunity for the Toronto Art Community to view the outstanding work created by York Visual Arts students.

Area Exhibitions
Studio areas in Visual Arts mount an annual group exhibition in The Gallery in the Goldfarb Centre for Fine Arts. For exhibition times and locations, check with the faculty area representative or technician for your studio area(s).

Mural Competition
The Mural Competition is an exciting opportunity for you to vie for an art commission right here at York. Each year, the call goes out for proposals for site-specific works on the York campus. The juried competition, co-sponsored by a number of groups including the Office of Student Affairs and the Faculty of Fine Arts, is open to all Students.

Winners of the Mural Competition receive a cash prize to purchase the necessary materials to complete the project. Designated sites are chosen to install the finished works for a minimum of three years, becoming a temporary or permanent part of York's public art collection.
