Supplementary Evaluation

In addition to the regular academic requirements for admission to York University, applicants to undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Fine Arts must complete a supplemental evaluation (portfolio or audition).

Students in class, imageYou must book an evaluation for each program to which you have applied - except for the following programs which do not require an supplemental evaluation:

  • Visual Arts: Art History
  • Film: Cinema & Media Studies
  • Dance: Studies

The fee for the supplemental evaluation is $50. If you are applying to more than one program in the Faculty of Fine Arts, second and subsequent evaluations carry a fee of $25 each.
