How To Apply
BA in Visual Arts - Art History
Application to the BA in Visual Arts - Art History program involves one step:
1. Application to York University
Students currently enrolled full-time in an Ontario secondary school apply through their guidance office.
All other candidates, including international applicants, may get an application from the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC).
International applicants are also encouraged to visit York University's website for international students.
Application Criteria
Admission to studies-based programs in the Faculty of Fine Arts is based on academic criteria. As a guide, the average required for admission to the BA in Visual Arts (Art History) in recent years has been in the mid 70s (a B/B+ average) for high school students and C+/B for current university/college students.
Note: You can also apply to the BFA in Visual Arts (Studio). If you are interested in both the BFA in Studio and the BA in Art History you must apply separately to each program.

Apply for Scholarships
