Fisher Fund Wine Tasting and Auction


Every April, wine enthusiasts join supporters of an innovative research and conservation program coordinated by York University's Faculty of Environmental Studies to benefit York’s Las Nubes Rainforest in Costa Rica, a project of the Fisher Fund for Neotropical Conservation.

Kenaidan-York University Chair's Cup Golf Tournament

 

Join us in June for golf and fundraising in support of York University's more than 5,000 graduate students. The proceeds help create scholarships for graduate students and are matched by the Ontario government through the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) program.

Every August, the world's best tennis players converge on Rexall Centre at York's Keele campus  to compete for the Rogers Cup. Men's and women's tournaments are held simultaneously in Toronto and Montreal.

Ready...Set...Mentor!

 

 

Based on the popular concept of speed dating, Ready…Set...Mentor! pairs York students with industry leaders from business, media, arts, entertainment, law, and government for a hour of five-minute, one-on-one sessions where students can seek advice. Ready…Set...Mentor! is held in September.

Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon

 

A joint initiative between York University and York's Counselling and Disability Services (CDS), Team York University raises funds in support of an endowed bursary for students who access CDS by participating in the five-kilometre, half-marathon and marathon events of the Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge.

Annual Ernest C. Mercier Lecture in Entrepreneurial Science


Bridging the worlds of business and commerce with the intensive research world of chemistry, the series presents an entrepreneur and renowned scientist who has used his/her own science education as a springboard to other enterprises.
