Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies has deep Calgary roots
Douglas Peers, a University of Calgary history professor was appointed dean of York’s Faculty of Graduate Studies and associate vice-president graduate in 2007. He has a keen interest in political philosophy with particular expertise in the area of British colonial rule in India. Peers places great importance on the integration of graduate education and research and the practices of interdisciplinarity and internationalization.
