However, a gift of life insurance is an exciting and powerful way for a person – regardless of means – to have a transformative impact with no risk to current lifestyle. There are various ways to make a gift of life insurance including:

  1. Transferring ownership of a new or existing policy (fully paid or with premiums owing) to York University Foundation;

  2. Retaining ownership and naming York University as a beneficiary of a new or existing policy; or,

  3. Naming your estate as beneficiary of an insurance policy with a corresponding bequest to York University.
