Marco Sestito, Events Assistant

Marco Sestito

A warm and heartfelt welcome to Founders College,

Life is full of changes and challenges and entering a post-secondary institution as large and varied as York University can be an especially mystifying experience. That is why, in the midst of life at York, your college – Founders College – can play an especially important role in helping make your time here a success. University life is not solely to grow and expand your horizons academically, but to also grow as a person. That is why I encourage each and every one of your to make Founders College your home away from home. Here you will find a myriad of events and activities that will engage your intellect, stimulate your creativity and most importantly, expand your community of friends.

As the Events Assistant at Founders, I will be helping to plan, coordinate and implement the College's activities and events. Participating in the events held by and at Founders College will introduce the most important and wonderful resource York University can offer: it's Faculty, staff, alumni and, you, its students.

I hope to meet all of you throughout the year. You are always welcome to stop by my office at any time, whether it be to discuss events, answer your questions, or simply to talk over an espresso.

In closing, I leave you with the following: "I know in my heart that man is good. That what is right will always eventually triumph. And there's purpose and worth to each and every life. "- Ronald Reagan
