YORK UNIVERSITY ORIENTATION WEEK IS SEPTEMBER 8, 2015
We encourage you to participate in YU START and York Orientation Day which includes your College Orientation on September 8th.
During Orientation, you will be introduced to the tools you need to excel in your studies at York. Orientation events are designed to help you make a smooth transition to university life. You will be introduced to the academic services, social and recreational activities and other facilities available to you, both at Founders and throughout the university. We will help you make connections.
As part of YU START and York Orientation Day, Founders College is hosting its College Life & Academic Orientation at 10:00am. Registration and breakfast begin at 9:30am in Founders College Room 152.
At Founders, you will meet professors from your academic program and will be introduced to the College Master, the College Academic Life Coordinator and the Master's Office team; you will also meet members of Founders College Student Council and learn about College Programming including: Peer Mentoring, College Life Advising, Employment and Volunteer Opportunities and much more.
Morning and Lunch Location: Founders College Room 152 (Assembly Hall) Building 50 on Map

York University Parent & Family Orientation
York University's Parent & Family Orientation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Learn how students can smoothly transition into university life. This comprehensive, half-day session will include a welcome from President Mamdouh Shoukri and will provide relevant information about York's student services. Please register for York University's Parent & Family Orientation.
Founders Student Success Information Session for Parents
Founders College is hosting a Student Success Information Session for parents of Founders students on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in FC 305 (Senior Common Room).
Parents are also invited to attend to meet the College Master, College Academic Life Coordinator, Master's Office staff and members of Founders College Student Council; ask questions, learn about the College, the programs and resources available to Founders College students.

Founders College Student Council is proud to present our Founders Orientation Week 2015: Rise of the Phoenix!!
Founders Social Orientation Week will be held from Saturday September 5 to Sunday, September 13, 2015. Planned especially for incoming students, Founders Social O-Week is full of opportunities to meet new people and create lasting friendships; a week full of good times, good people and good fun!
We have an exciting line-up of events for you this year. Some of the events we have planned are: Founders Double Quad Party, Stong Pit Party and a day at Wasaga Beach.
Here is your opportunity to get involved, meet new friends, and become part of the Founders community.
