Founders College Orientation 2013

WELCOME to Founders College and York University!

Founders College Orientation week is divided in two parts, Academic and Social, designed to help you make a smooth transition to University life.

Our Academic Orientation sessions will help you succeed at York. We will introduce you to academic services, social and recreational activities and other facilities available to you, both at Founders and throughout the university. We want to help you make connections.

Academic Orientation is organized according to your Major. To register, find your Major from the list below and click on the corresponding Session to register.

Location: Founders College 305 (Senior Common Room) Building 50 on Map

Cost: All sessions are free (breakfast and lunch are provided); however, you are responsible for parking.

Social Orientation

Date: Monday, September 2 to Sunday, September 8.

Parent Orientation

Founders College Parent Orientation is on Monday, September 2, 2013, at 12:30pm in Founders College 305 (Senior Common Room). Orientation will begin with lunch and will introduce you to the college system, academic, social and recreational activities, as well as work and volunteer opportunities available to your son/daughter in the college.

On the same day, York University will host a university-wide Parent Orientation (9:00am to 12:00pm in the Lassonde Building). We recommend that you attend it and then join us at Founders College.
