Village Shuttle Service
Please be advised that the Village Shuttles will be moving to our Summer schedule as of Sunday April 28, 2013, meaning that the Village Express shuttle will be the only shuttle, operating from 8pm until 1:30am. For the Summer schedule please see the attached file below. Thank you! |
| York University provides various shuttle services providing transportation options to the off-campus housing area to the south of the Keele Campus known as ‘The Village’. The service is comprised of three York University shuttles "Village Express", "Village East", "Village West", operating between the hours of 6 pm and 2 am. (see schedule for specific details). The expanded Village East and Village West shuttles will run from Monday to Friday for the Fall and Winter terms. Shuttle services do not operate during statutory holidays or during the University Holiday closure after the Fall exam period. |  |
All shuttles pick up in front of Vari Hall at the start of each of their runs. The service is for any York University community member, and all passengers using the shuttle services are asked to ensure that they have their YU Card or another acceptable piece of photo identification to be able to use the service. Service is available on a first come, first serve basis. The shuttles will only pick-up and drop-off at the designated locations listed below (map will be available shortly). On the Village Express Route passenger will be able to request drop off anywhere along the route after 11 pm. Calumet and Jane & Shoreham pick-ups and drop-offs are only available upon request. Accessible service for patrons with disabilities is also available upon request along all of the routes.
Please note that bulky items (anything item that either impedes the walkway for other passengers or takes up a space that could be used for another passenger), animals (unless they are service animals), alcohol are not permitted on any York University shuttle. In addition, guests to the University must be accompanied by a York University community member and possess a valid form of photo identification. Intoxicated patrons are not permitted on any University shuttle.

Please note: goSAFE staff will walk you from any on-campus to on-campus destinations (including the on-campus Village Shuttle pick up locations). Call the goSAFE office at 416.736.5454 or ext. 55454 during hours of operation.
