From YFile - July 31, 2008 The Graduate Program in Humanities will hold an information session for fourth year students majoring in a field in the Humanities on Monday January 14 from 10 a. m. to 12 p.m. in Room 010 Vanier College (located in the basement of Vanier beside the elevators.) All majors are invited to attend. The 2007-2008 York Noor Lecture Series continues in January and February. Plan on attending one of these engaging lectures. Six dates scheduled for the New Year. George Preusse, German Cabaret & Travestie Internationally Acclaimed German Performer, is coming to York on Monday March 3, 2008 to talk about his performance and the women he impersonates on stage. Charles Withers, Professor of Historical Geography and Head of the Institute of Geography, University of Edinburgh will come to York University on Thursday, April 10, 2008 to present his lecture Mungo Park, African Explorer: Science, Credibility and Trust.
