A psychotherapy focused practicum is available in the mood and anxiety stream of the Adult Day Treatment Program at the Brampton Civic site of William Osler Health System. Practica will take place between September and April.

Under the supervision of the Psychologist, the student will gain experience in both intervention and assessment with an emphasis on intervention. Intervention experiences will include individual psychotherapy, and running depression and stress/anxiety groups. Assessment experiences will include intake and diagnostic interviewing, personality assessment, and cognitive assessment.
Previous experience in individual psychotherapy is required, as is course work in psychological assessment.
