Faculty and students in the Social and Personality Area are involved in basic research in such areas as attributions, emotions, personality traits and group behavior, and also in applied research on such topics as co-worker relations, road-rage, jury decision-making and minority status.  In addition to courses, training in the area includes both research and applied practica, in settings inside and outside of the University.
